  1. A conversation about the unit

A relationship manager meets your finance, nursing and clinical engineering leaders to understand the unit: its census, its equipment, its plans and its budget cycle.

  2. A proposal with options

We price the equipment you have chosen in more than one structure, side by side, with the total cost of each over the term. For beds, we run Utilization Pricing against your own census history.

  3. Credit review

We review your audited statements, cost reports and cash position. Most decisions take three business days. Rural Hospital Program applications are reviewed by the program team.

  4. Documents

You sign one master agreement, reviewed by your counsel, and a schedule for each group of equipment. Later equipment needs only a new schedule.

  5. Order and installation

We pay the manufacturer on delivery and acceptance. Our field asset specialists coordinate installation, connection to the service network where agreed, and removal of old equipment.

  6. During the term

Statements, asset records, service history and utilization are in the Client Center. Your relationship manager reviews the agreement with you every year.

  7. At the end

Return, buy, extend or refresh, as the schedule provides. We give you twelve months’ notice of every end date.

What we need from you

  • Audited financial statements for the last two years and year-to-date management accounts.
  • The last filed cost report.
  • The equipment quote from your chosen manufacturer.
  • For Utilization Pricing, monthly census for the unit for the last three years.

Hospitals in the Rural Hospital Program can send unaudited statements where audits are not yet available.
