Douglas Rennick in The Overseen: Continuity Assurance is how rural hospitals keep their ICUs open

Douglas Rennick, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Wardmore Health Capital, writes in The Overseen today about Continuity Assurance and the rural and independent hospitals it was built for.

“Hospital equipment finance is funded by people who lend against the payments hospitals make,” he writes. “The lower the risk those investors see, the lower the rate a hospital pays.”

The article sets out how Continuity Assurance works, the commitment we made on August 15, and why we believe the program is the reason many rural hospitals can finance intensive-care equipment at all.
