NASHVILLE, Tenn., October 3, 2023 — Wardmore Health Capital today introduced Technology Refresh, a program that replaces a hospital’s patient monitoring every 48 months for a fixed monthly payment. At each refresh, Wardmore removes the outgoing monitors, installs the current generation from the hospital’s chosen manufacturer, and remarkets the returned equipment.
Monitoring hardware typically outlives its software support. Hospitals that buy outright often keep monitors for eight or nine years, long after the manufacturer’s last security update. Technology Refresh is designed so that no monitor in a refreshed unit is more than four years old.
The first three hospitals to sign, in Georgia, Ohio and Saskatchewan, will refresh 412 bedside monitors and nine central stations between them.
